Kirk Kassner
Kirk Kassner is a writer, lecturer, and consultant in music education. His forty-year career included teaching music in public schools at all age levels and as an adjunct instructor at Portland State University and the University of Central Florida. He has served the profession in many capacities—including as member of the Editorial Committee for the Music Educators Journal—and has written many articles for MEJ and other journals, contributed to several MENC publications and Silver Burdett textbooks, and lectured across the United States and in Great Britain, Italy, Greece, China, and Brazil.
